Cancer Connection now has an endowment, due to a very generous donation of an anonymous donor to "thank Cancer Connection for the compassion and dedication which Cancer Connection gives to the community" and wishes to see continue long into the future. Cancer Connection is committed to offering support services, programs and support groups free-of-charge to people with cancer and their family members. We raise our entire operating budget every year. Some 125 people participate in our activities each week; in addition, people newly diagnosed with cancer call and/or drop in daily for advice, comfort, and support.

Cancer Connection is an independent non-profit organization that serves people on a local level, and depends on the voluntary contributions of individuals and businesses in our community. We receive absolutely no funding from state or federal governments or any of the 9 Relay for Life events held in Western Massachusetts each spring by the American Cancer Society.
