Cancer Connection is able to offer all its programs and services free of charge because of the generosity of our community. We receive no funding from state or federal governments, the United Way or the American Cancer Society. Instead, we are supported through individual donations, grants from foundations and businesses, and community benefits like the ones listed here.

A full day of family fun and fundraising. Three-person teams will compete to see who can ride a tricycle faster! New in 2011—a Teen division open to 13-19 year olds. Pledge walk, ice cream, music, climbing wall and more.

Sold out in 2011, this event includes an 18-hole shotgun start scramble, a hole-in-one contest on all par 3’s, closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive contests, thank you gifts, carts, lunch and dinner. There will also be raffles, a silent auction and a putting contest.
At Cancer Connection, Sandra Batura may be most recognized for the Annual Golf Tournament she began and oversaw for the last six years. Last September, ABC40/Fox 6's Scott Coen spent time on the golf course with Sandra. When he heard she had died, Scott wrote this article about Sandra.
