Items that we regretfully cannot accept

We must turn down some of your donations for one or more of the following reasons:

  • Too heavy, large, costly for us to handle.

  • Hazardous materials that could create danger in the workplace and would be costly for us to dispose of. We cannot accept donations that would put our volunteers at risk i.e. containing mold, animal droppings or hazardous materials.

  • Experience tells us we will not be able to sell it in our store.

  • Existing and new laws have made these items a health and liability risk
